The fourth workshop Basics of IP Protection and Valorisation will be organised in a hybrid format on 1 June 2022, by KUL Research & Development – Tech Transfer Office. The office has several units that offer advice and support to researchers regarding the management of EU and national projects, provide guidance throughout the entire process of intellectual property protection, look for potential industry partners and supports researchers in transforming their innovative ideas and technologies into new and promising high-tech companies.
The following topics will be were presented:
- Safeguarding information: Confidentiality, disclosures, material transfer
- Patent protection of IP
- Valorisation: basics of licensing – creation of a spin-off
